My favorite pet is my dog, Pooka.  Her beautiful, medium-length white fur requires no extra brushing; dirt drops off her as she wanders through the weeds.  Playing with her results in exercise and laughter.  I toss a tennis ball and she bounces off to retrieve it, bounding through sage brush like a clown clamoring over circus equipment.  Whenever I cry, “Ow,” she prances up to lick my face; she always cares for and worries about me.  My best friend Pooka is the best pet anyone could ever have.

My favorite pet is my dog, Pooka. She is beautiful and easy to care for; her medium white fur needs no extra brushing.  Playing with her is lots of fun; I throw a tennis ball and she bounces off to retrieve it. She always takes care of me; she prances up to me whenever I say,”Ow!” and licks my face.  Pooka is the best pet anyone could ever have.
